Can I enroll in a partial camp?
Partial camp registration is not available for 2025 Summer Camps at Little Beakers - Orem or Sandy. There are no refunds for missed days or partial camp attendance.
What if I need to cancel after I have enrolled?
If you need to cancel your camp enrollment, no less than 14 day notice is required to be considered for a refund. Note: any refunds issued will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellation requests received with notice of less than 14 days from the first day of camp will not be refunded in part or in whole. With the understanding that unexpected things do come up, there are two additional options: 1. Your full enrollment fee may be applied to a different camp session, on a space available basis or 2. Your full enrollment fee may be transferred to the enrollment of a different camper with manager approval. Please contact the lab to discuss these options.
What is the best age for campers at Little Beakers?
Summer Camps at Little Beakers are perfect for children ages 5-13. Unless otherwise noted, participants must be 5 years old on the first day of camp that they attend. In the event that a camper is enrolled in but does not meet the minimum age for a camp, parents will have 2 options: enrollment may be transferred to an age appropriate camp or enrollment will be cancelled by Little Beakers. In the event of a refund, a 10% admin fee will be applied to refunded amount.
How many participants will be in each camp class?
Camp enrollment is currently capped at 24 participants per session. Multiple classes may be offered during a particular camp session, depending on enrollment, with a max of 12 participants per class. Individual class rosters will be based on enrollment and determined by Little Beakers teaching staff each day of camp. Parent requests (eg. keep siblings together) will be taken into consideration.
Does Little Beakers provide a snack? What if my child has allergies?
A snack break is built into each day of camp. Campers will be provided with a juice pouch and offered a selection of healthy snacks to choose from. We strive to have options that take the most common allergens into consideration (gluten, nuts, dairy). Campers with special diet requirements should be prepared to bring an appropriate snack with them to camp each day.
Do we need to do anything before arriving at camp?
All campers must have a current General Participation Waiver on file before entering the lab. Waivers can be completed in advance on the Little Beakers - Sandy or Orem websites or at check-in on the first day of camp. Waivers are valid for 12 months. Please check with the lab if you are not sure if a waiver that you have already completed is current.
What do we need to bring to camp?
Each participant should bring a water bottle clearly labeled with their name to camp with them each day. There are water coolers on site if they forget their personal water bottle or need a refill. Please leave extra toys and materials at home. Little Beakers is not responsible for personal items that are damaged or lost.
