Bots & STEM Camp - Danger, Will Robinson! - June 8th - 12th 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM

  • Car designs with highest velocity and acceleration, testing effects of friction with ramps

Chemical Reactions and Explosions Camp **AGES 9+ - Don’t Try This at Home! - June 1st - 5th 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM OR July 27th - 31st 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM

  • Fire, ice, eruptions and explosions experiments

  • Real lab tools and equipment to conduct advanced chemical reaction experiments

  • Molecular model building and using standard and digital microscopes

  • Engineering process to design, build and test bridges and structures

  • Pneumatic machines, catapults, and roller coasters

  • Earthworm and grasshopper dissections

  • Bugs, insects and arachnids investigation

Forensic Science Camp - Elementary! - June 15th - 19th 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

  • Fingerprint, hair and fiber identification techniques

Geology and Earth Science Camp - Gneiss, Tuff and a Little Bit Wacke! - July 20th - 24th 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

  • Rock cycle and rock identification using geologist tools and techniques

  • Erosion, weathering and deposition with volcanoes, glaciers and earthquakes

  • Core to crust Earth model - take home

Junior Doctors Camp **AGES 9+ - Did Someone Call a Doctor? - June 15th - 19th 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Simple Machines and Chain Reactions Camp **AGES 9+ - Complex Solutions to Simple Problems! - July 13th - 17th 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM

  • Newton’s Laws of Motion experiments

  • Design, build and test a Rube Goldberg inspired machine

Tasty Chemistry Camp - Chemistry in Food and Food in Chemistry - July 13th - 17th 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

  • Identify starches and acids using chemical reactions

  • Influence of temperature and air movement on crystal formation investigation

  • Use electrochemistry to power lights and clocks

Volcanoes, Reactions, and Explosions Camp - Stand Back…She’s Gonna Blow! - June 1st - 5th 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM, June 22nd - 26th 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM OR August 10th - 14th 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM

 Weather and Environmental Science Camp - It’s Easy Being Green - July 27th - 31st 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM

  • Mini solar cars - Engineer, test and take home

  • Build and test a variety of tools used in weather measurement and forecasting

  • Water cycle and greenhouse effect experiments.

*Classes/Camps may be cancelled or rescheduled if minimum enrollment is not met. Session topics and dissection specimens are subject to change based on enrollment and availability of materials.
