Summer Camps*
Little Beakers - Sandy will be offering two, 5-day summer camp sessions each week starting June 3rd through August 12th. Choose between morning (9 am - 12 pm) OR afternoon (1:30 pm - 4:30 pm.) Each session will cover a different theme, with a wide range of topics including: astronomy and aeronautics, botany, STEM and engineering, paleontology and geology, marine biology, forensic science, etc. In addition to daily themed activities, each camp will include polymers, chemical reactions and hands-on experience with real lab tools and equipment. Participants must be at least 5 years old on the first day of camp. The daily camp sessions are 3 hours long and include a healthy snack. Starting at $225 (+tax) per participant. Member and sibling discounts are available. Discounts may not be combined.

Parents Night Out (PNO)*
Each PNO starts at 6 pm, is 2.5 hours long and includes approximately 2 hours of hands-on science plus dinner (pizza, juice pouches and fresh veggies). Registration is limited to 18 participants (recommended ages 3+) and starts at $40 each. Sibling and Member discounts available. Discounts may not be combined.
Friday, June 21st: Rocket Science Night
During our June PNO, participants will: design, build and test air rockets, explore Newton's Laws of Motion, use acid/base reactions to launch rockets, make a polymer that is out of this world and more!
Friday, July 26th: Good Day Sunshine
During our July PNO, participants will learn about the power of the sun, make UV light detectors, sun prints, mini solar-bots and more.
Friday, August 23rd: Fun Science Night!
During our August PNO, participants will explore a sampling of some of our favorite hands-on science experiments, including: making polymers, conducting acid/base reaction experiments, kicking off an exothermic reaction and sharing in the grand finale!
Summer 2024 Dissection and Guided Lab Sessions
Each Dissection Lab and Guided Lab Session is 60 minutes long and led by a Little Beakers scientist. Dissection Lab sessions (start at $28 p/participant) include a review of the internal and external anatomy of each specimen followed by a hands-on examination of a preserved specimen. Guided Lab Sessions (start at $25 p/participant) include 3-5 hands on experiments that fit the theme. Unless otherwise noted, Dissection Lab Sessions start at 11 am and Guided Lab Sessions start at 12 pm. Sign up for back to back sessions (scheduled on the same day) and save! Member and sibling discounts are available. Discounts may not be combined.

24/25 Homeschool, After School and Pre-School Science Program
Enrollment is now open! Learn more about the program by attending an upcoming info session. During the 30 minute Q&A, child participants are invited to join a Little Beakers scientists for a mini- guided session. Sessions are free, but space is limited. Reservations are required.
